Cornell FSAE is on its way to adding a 10th World Championship to its records. Preliminary designs, which finished over a week ago, showcased the team's dedication and passion. Not only were the designs thorough and robust, but they also encompassed many of the drastic changes the team hopes to implement to further its 25 year history of innovation and success. With secondary designs scheduled for this coming Friday, October 28th, team members are camping out in the design studio in the pursuit of once again becoming the team to beat. The team is extremely excited about ARG12 and can't wait to unveil the finished product. |

The Toronto Shootout was ARG11’s final race, but the current team's first competition for the year. We had a great time and the new members got a wonderful opportunity to gain some experience, meet our competition, and see ARG11 race. Although we had slow start due to the extremely cold weather, we were able to start the car and make a few laps around the track before the lunch break.
As the weather warmed up and our drivers became more accustomed to the track layout, our three drivers continued to improve their times with each run. Although we were unable to match the times of the fastest teams, we came home with a new found resolution and more ideas to improve our design for ARG12. It was a great learning opportunity for our team as our members were able to check out the diverse designs of our competition. We hope to improve on and implement these ideas in our drastically overhauled design of ARG12. The team is extremely excited this year and looks forward to showcasing a new era of Cornell Racing. Thank you to all those who participated in the event and thank you to our sponsors who helped make ARG11 a success. |
